Title Business Development Rep - Telecom (Montreal)
Position Overview As a Business Development Representative working for a nationwide distributor, you will be primarily responsible for driving sales through growth with new accounts in the Montreal Area - selling primarily to privately owned telecom stores (i.e. Fido, Telus, and Bell stores).

Leads will be provided and you can expect to spend 60 to 80% of your time on the road visiting clients and growing your territory. This is a home-based office role and you will be provided a lap top and car allowance.

General duties will include:
• Business development through effective prospecting, resulting in opening of new accounts
• Ensuring customer satisfaction through the sale of cellular phones and original cellular phone accessories
• Building solid long-term relationships with store owners and purchasers and establishing trust and loyalty
• Managing and growing several existing accounts
• Conducting presentation and training sessions to sales staff at stores, when needed

Requirements Qualifications:
• 3-5 years in B2B sales (ideally telecom related) and experience with cold calling and cold visits
• You should be goal-oriented and a self-starter with a hunter mentality
• The right candidate will be creative and able to come up with sales ideas and strategies to acquire new business and develop existing accounts
• Wireless experience preferred. Ideally you have sold to the Dealer network, or have worked directly for a dealer
• Candidates must possess a car
Compensation & Benefits Overview $45,000 - $50,000 base salary + $35,000 in commission (if you hit targets!). Laptop provided, cell phone expenses, and car allowance.
